Message from China

Hello Everyone,
Apologies for abandoning the cause! Managed to get myself to China for the summer. I have been here exactly one week now and finally feeling steady enough to write a hello message with an 'I'll be back in full force' shout out attached. Hope the picture gives a nice touch to the recent classical chinese workshop, it is taken from the Summer Palace in Beijing.

Hi Eileen, its great you have made it to China, enjoy it for all of us. Thanks also for the wonderful pic - you sure you not trying to make us all jealous? Its a great opportunity to immerse yourself in different culture/s and so grow as a person and as a poet. The poem below is a wry take on your departure. I know I shouldnt explain it, but, well, it says you'll be missed! Have fun and come back all inspired and charged up!
